Sensor Modeling for Airport Simulation through the High Level Architecture

چکیده
The French Aeronautics and Space Research Center (ONERA) launched in 1998 a federative R&D project on the airport of the future. A critical step of this project is to design an airport modeling and simulation infrastructure aiming at experimenting and validating some solutions to maintain an average level of aircraft movements whatever the weather conditions are. The infrastructure is currently built by integrating a set of existing or newly designed simulators, each specialized for a different component of the simulated airport system. Simulation is achieved through the DoD’s High Level Architecture (HLA). A key issue in airport modeling and simulation is to define a sensor modeling approach aiming at localization and identification of moving aircraft. In this paper we discuss the main features of the airport modeling and simulation infrastructure, and we focus on the ground sensor modeling approach we propose to simulate aircraft localization.

Simulation and Modeling of a High Sensitivity Micro-electro-mechanical Systems Capacitive Pressure Sensor with Small Size and Clamped Square Diaphragm
This paper proposes a Micro-electro-mechanical (MEMS) capacitive pressure sensor that relies on the movable electrode displaced like a flat plate equal to the maximum center deflection of diaphragm. The diaphragm, movable electrode and mechanical coupling are made of polysilicon, gold and Si3N4, respectively. The fixed electrode is gold and the substrate is Pyrex glass. This proposed method inc...
متن کاملModeling of capacitance and sensitivity of a MEMS pressure sensor
In this paper modeling of capacitance and sensitivity for MEMS capacitive pressure sensor is presented. In capacitive sensor the sensitivity is proportional to deflection and capacitance changes versus pressure. Therefore first the diaphragm displacement, capacitance and sensitivity of sensor with square diaphragm have been modeled and then simulated using finite element method (FEM). It can b...
متن کاملA New High-order Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Model Based on Deformed Linear Models
Amongst possible choices for identifying complicated processes for prediction, simulation, and approximation applications, high-order Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy models are fitting tools. Although they can construct models with rather high complexity, they are not as interpretable as first-order TS fuzzy models. In this paper, we first propose to use Deformed Linear Models (DLMs) in consequence pa...
متن کاملNeuro-ACT Cognitive Architecture Applications in Modeling Driver’s Steering Behavior in Turns
Cognitive Architectures (CAs) are the core of artificial cognitive systems. A CA is supposed to specify the human brain at a level of abstraction suitable for explaining how it achieves the functions of the mind. Over the years a number of distinct CAs have been proposed by different authors and their limitations and potentials were investigated. These CAs are usually classified as symbolic and...
